H.AL.I.C stands for Heuristic ALgoritmic Interactive Computing. Halic is a Ghent-based music sondervan and visuals kaotec coding duo.

Both member of the Lambdasonic collective, they’ve been researching and pioneering livecoding in Belgium since 2013.

Lambdasonic was founded in 2014 when the first algoraves in Belgium took place in Antwerp. We continued organising events such as the first international livecoding meetup in Ghent still in 2014 https://lambdasonic2014.halic.be/ (we were there!)
